What to Expect from a Class of 2026 Senior Session

Broad Ripple Park

Booking

You can book a session directly on my website or I can book one for you. The light is best about an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset, so those times are what I have built into my calendar. If those don’t work for you, I can usually be flexible! Just contact me.

Traders Point Creamery

Location

There are lots of great spots close to the Meridian Kessler area where I live, but I’m happy to branch out. Holliday Park, Broad Ripple Park, Butler University Campus, Broad Ripple Village and Lockerbie (all shown in this guide) are fun options, depending on if you want something very green and natural or more urban. Keep in mind that the foliage will vary by season, so what looks glorious in your friend’s photos might have a completely different feel a month later. Newfields is stunning but requires a reservation and a $50 photography pass for each session, as does Traders Point Creamery and some other locations around the city. If that's your preference, I’m happy to secure the venue for you and invoice you for the fee. I need to know your choice of location a week in advance so that I can scope it out.

Outfits

For the 60-minute session I encourage a wardrobe change, up to three outfits in total. The 30-minute session does not include a change of clothes, but you're welcome to add/remove layers during that period. Often we’re working somewhere without a public bathroom, so most clients just change quickly in their cars. And if you need some pointers, I have a helpful guide on what to wear.

Images

For the 60-minute session I provide at least 30 edited, digital images for you to download within two weeks; for the 30-minute session it's around 15. (I don't release unedited images.) I provide an online store so that you can order grad cards, prints, or wall art right from your gallery. I'm also happy to design an album for you. These products are high quality and will absolutely look better than something you print at a local drug store or big box. You are free to use the images however you like, and I am free to post them to my website and Instagram account, tagging you, unless you request that I do not.

Pricing

For senior sessions you can choose between a 60- or 30-minute session. The hour session is $400 and includes 30 edited, digital images. The 30-minute session is $300 and includes about 15 images. I’ll invoice you for the session, and I accept credit cards, checks or Zelle payments. The online store accepts credit cards for product purchases.

What If...?

It rains? We’ll reschedule. If it’s iffy and you’re uncertain of what to do, I’ll advise you. Cloudy skies can make for very nice images, but I’m always happy to reschedule if that’s your preference.

Mom wants to come? If you're under 18 at the time of the session, we have to have a parent or responsible adult present. If you're 18, it's up to you. My preference is that they come but give us a lot of space. It’s important that you and I create a connection, and if someone is over my shoulder trying for cheesy smiles, it won’t be as effective. However, if a parent does come, they will be included in a couple shots at the end, so please prepare them for that. Those usually turn out quite nicely because everyone has relaxed and is having fun. Plus, you look amazing!

My friend or sibling wants to come? I’m happy to take a few shots with your guest, but the main focus will definitely be on you. If you want to book a full session together, that’s a different price point, which we can discuss.

My pet wants to come? I haven’t done much work with pets, but I’m game if you are, as long as someone else is there to occupy your animal while we complete your session.

My skin breaks out? I go into this in more detail in my style guide, but please don’t worry about acne! I can edit it out.

I have more questions? Please contact me. Your session will be special and fun and I don’t want you to stress!
